About this course:
This online course will give you the skills to ensure your project information reaches the right stakeholder at the right time. You will gain a strong working knowledge of the concepts of project information management and be able to immediately use that knowledge to effectively manage information in your projects.

Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of the Project Information Management online course participants will: Understand the information management processes and information life cycle, know the steps required to plan and manage project information and develop an effective project information management plan.
Course Requirements
Understand the characteristics of a information management and its process deliverables. Understanding of projects, project leadership, project management and/or related experience is a recommended requirement. It is recommended that students have completed the online course “Fundamentals of Project Management” to have a good understanding of key definitions and concepts of project management.
Learning Methodology
Course activities are asynchronous; students are not required to be online at a specific time. All course material can be downloaded. Students participate in discussion forums, take online tests and submit exercises for review by the instructor. Learning is guided by social constructionist pedagogy, where students participate and share their experiences with each other building a common knowledge of project management.
